I got a similar problem to that of Raoul:
The csv import breaks off after 9 lines of import data, no matter how long the actual file is. I have tried with files of different length, but to no avail, it always breaks off after 9 lines. It used to work fine until I imported a file of exactly 9 lines, ever since the program does not go beyond line 9, even for much longer files!
I have also tried to reinstall and recreate the project, but it does not work. I get a green box, though, saying that everything is alright with the file, validation goes through...
Could somebody please give advice on this?
Thanks a lot in advance,
cheers, Matthias

please help...
Could somebody help me with the above problem or share similar experiences, please?? The import still breaks off after 9 lines, no matter what and how long the file. I have tried the following:
* Shorten the variable names to 8 characters or less and the data to 5 digits or less
* Use different import formats: csv of different types, txt of different types
* Use the original data, data scaled to (0,1), artificially generated data with a varying number of lines
* Reinstall the program with SmartPLS-folder, registry and Windows-prefetch cleaned up
None of this has worked, and I would really love to keep using this program...
Thanks a lot! Matthias

Dear Matthias,
this question is not new.
A quick solution to your problem is the search function of this forum (just an example of a useful link: viewtopic.php?t=174&highlight=preview).
The CVS-Editor just gives a PREVIEW on your data. We included this feature to help people who run in trouble when importing data. Here, you can change the data-separator to fix the problem and indicate missing values.
The SmartPLS results report gives you a detailed overview on the (imported) data that underly you model estimation.
Cheers
