Import Projects from Version 1.0
Is it possible to load or import projects saved using older versions of SmartPLS?

SmartPLS 1 models
Well, this is one downside of SmartPLS 2: You cannot import SmartPLS 1 models. Such models must be created as a “new project” once again.
However, the upside is that you can import different datasets for the same model. For example, it is possible to import a basic dataset as well as (previously created) datasets for customer group 1, customer group 2 and so on (see the user manual for more information).
