Treating missing values on SmartPLS 3

Hello,

I'm migrating from SmartPLS 2 to version 3 and I couldn't find a way to determine the missing value when importing a data file. On my data file, I've replaced all missing value with -99, but the import file dialog doesn't ask if the file contains missing values.

Also, I couldn't find on the new interface where to set the missing value algorithm (case wise replacement, list wise replacement, etc.).

Thanks in advance for any help.

Regards,
Adriano

You can set up the missing value if you open the data file after it has been imported (just double click and see the available options..).

After you have set up a missing value, there will be a new tab on each algorithm execution dialog that lets you decide, which algorithm to use.

Wende,
Thanks for your response. I'm now able to proceed with my analysis.

Hi, When working with missing values and case-wise deletion, is it possible to see the actual number of cases used for estimation in the report somewhere? Thx, Torsten

You can see the number of cases, for example, if you copy your "Indicator Data" into Excel. It will show you the row numbers of each case.
