How do path coefficients in PLS (Partial Least Squares) analysis differ from correlation coefficients when considering the presence of multiple correlated independent variables? Could you explain the relationship between path coefficients and regression coefficients in this context, particularly in terms of their interpretation as either standardized multivariate regression coefficients or partial correlations?
