Floodlight Analysis for All

Post by SSAD2MRDBAMSJDMD »

The floodlight analysis procedure (Johnson-Neyman), as implemented by the Process Macro in SPSS is very useful to the point of be an indispensable requirement for analysis of conditional effects (mediation, moderation, moderated mediation, mediated moderation). Therefore, all analysis modes in SMART PLS (PLS, Regression, & Process, etc..) should support it.
This would:
A) be super useful. Plots are nice but you currently cannot visualize where two points are statistically significantly different from each other. Nor, IIRC, can you plot more than the mean and ±1 SD.
B) make SMART PLS that much more valuable as a research tool. (i.e., more analysis use cases completed entirely within SMARTPLS).
