SMART PLS 3 Micom Test Why permuatation p value is zero

Post by jojii »

I have a question about this. When i run MICOM test in Step 3, i don't know why permutation p -values is zero. (Dimension: Daya Tarik or you can see the block one) somebody who knows what's that problem? Help me please :)

In step 3 you test whether the mean or variance difference is significantly different from zero.
The permutation approach generates the reference distribution (random permuting the data into groups) from which you can generate confidence intervals for this reference distribution. Your mean or variance difference is significant if it is outside the confidence interval of the reference distribution. This is clearly the case for your mean-difference on "Daya Tarik". Likewise, the permutation p-value counts the number of reference distribution cases that are larger than (if positive) or smaller than (if negative) the original difference. You have zero percent (of some number smaller than 0.000 which is your accuracy on the decimals) also indicating strongly that your mean-difference is different from zero.

I have another question. before i found the 0.000 was the permutation p- value mean of "Daya Tarik".why that number was hide? I mean 0.000 shown after i click hide zero values?

When you hide zero values, then zero values are hidden. That might be useful for some results tables but not for all result tables.

In SmartPLS 4 we have pre-specified in which tables zero values are hidden and in which tables they should be displayed. In general, SmartPLS 4 has many improvements and should be preferred over SmartPLS 3.
