Error Occured in SmartPLS 2.0

My SMartPLS had been running for several months. At this time, I wondered because an error has occurred. This error pops-up as follows:
An error has occurred: See the log file
C:\Users\Acers\.eclipse\de.smartpls.main.SmartPLS_2.0.3\configuration\1352435782513.log
Please advise how we can fix this problem.

I cant activate with the new key because the error message below occurs every time I click the smartpls icon:
An error has occurred: See the log file
C:\Users\Acers\.eclipse\de.smartpls.main.SmartPLS_2.0.3\configuration\1352435782513.log
Any advice?

Hi Eins,
Check your JRE version in drive computer. I think you computer automatic update JRE.

I have t same error and I solve it by uninstall and choose to download with JRE. Re-install and it works.
Please try.

Open your drive computer and check Java version 1.6 or 1.7?

You need to restart you computer after updating Java.

SmartPLS 2.0 requires Java Runtime Environment (JRE) update 29 (IMPORTANT: 32 bit version!).
PLEASE NOTE: SmartPLS 2 does not work with later version (e.g., JRE 7)!!! Everything was working fine including JRE 6 (version 29). However, Java's latest release, JRE 6 (version 31) and JRE 7, causee incompatibility problems with SmartPLS 2. When your bug report (approx. line 3) includes
"java.version=1.6.31"
or
"java.version=1.7.0",
then JRE 6 (version 31) or JRE 7 cause the problems (java.version=1.6.29 and earlier work fine with SmartPLS 2).
Solution:
Just uninstall JRE 7 and install the JRE 6 update 29 (32 bit).

I just encountered the same problem and used jre-6u43-windows-i586.exe to replace the JRE 7 that I had (unknowingly) installed and it solved my problem too. Thanks for this tip.
