Dear forum,
I just read the whole correspondence for modelling interaction effects in SmartPLS. The multigroup comparison seems pretty clear to me, but my question is:
I have another moderator, namely AGE, which is of course metric scaled. Therefore I guess the interaction term approach is necessary. But how do I create the terms in SmartPLS? Or do I have to create these effects already in the data file?
I have:
IV --> DV ......... IV is measured via 3 items, age moderates the effect.
I would: MEAN of the 3 items, multiply the MEAN with the correspondet age --> new interaction term is created --> insert this interaction term in the path model
And my 2nd question is: how do I check the differences in path cooefficients for significance?
