Correlation analysis between second-order constructs

Questions about the implementation and application of the PLS-SEM method, that are not related to the usage of the SmartPLS software.

Correlation analysis between second-order constructs

Post by coser72 »

Hi everyone,

I have a second-order reflective model wich is destinated to the confirmation of the following six hypothesis about four second-order latent variables: CH, CE, CR and PF:

- Hypothesis H1, H2, H3 stand that CH, CE and CR have a positive influence on PF. They're represented by direct paths from CH, CE and CR to PF.

- Hypothesis H4, H5, H6 stand that CH, CE and CR are positive and significantly correlated.

As far as I understand, the correlation paths are not drawn on SmartPLS path model.
Then, my doubt is: Can I confirmate ou reject the hypothesis H4, H5 and H6 based on Latent Variable Correlations given by SmartPLS' report?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards,
