I would like to know how many iterations are on average necessaries to reach convergence with PLS's algorithm.
Otherwise I would like to know the complexity of the algorithm.

How many iterations are performed before convergence depends (a) on your model and (b) on your underlying data set. In my personal experience the algorithm often takes less than 5, very rarely between 5 and 10 iterations.

It's hard to express the complexity of the algorithm since it is not based on combinatorics.
