Consistent PLS Bootstrapping not working

Post by laura1291 »

Hi everyone,

in my project consistent pls bootstrapping is not working properly regarding one mediating effect. It doesn't show t-statistics and p-values, also sample mean and sd are n/a. Do you know any reasons?

Some genereal background info:
the mediator referred to is on a 7-likert scale (5 items)
total of 10 LVs (all reflective, 7 are supposed to have an effect on the mediator)
n=221

Any specific information required to help me out on this one? :)

Thx! Sorry if it's a stupid question but im kind of new to PLS

That is not an unusual problem with PLSc. Models that do not satisfy the strict assumptions of common factor models, that have residual correlations, etc. can produce these inadmissable solutions. Similar to Haywood cases in CB-SEM.
