Testing for validiy and reliability of moderators

Hello Everyone,
In my model I have two moderators - one is a third order formative construct, the other is a first order reflecive construct.
Do I include both these as predictor variables in my structural diagram in order to run PLS and check for reliability and validity? Or else do I test the reliability and validity of just the main effects model separately, and then the formative moderator separately in PLS and the reflective moderator separately in SPSS?
I would greatly appreciate any advice or guidance in this regard.
