Right after installing SmartPLS2 I could not find any icon to start the program - neither in the windows programme menu nor on the desktop. So I had to manually create a shortcut to the "smartpls2.exe".
Just a small thing, but maybe a big obstacle for a not so experienced
windows user.

That is strange. Normally the windows installer should create an entry in the start menu as well as a shortcut on the desktop. Does anyone else have this problem?

Unlikely, but possible this could have happend due to the restrictive IT-Policy, you mentioned in another post.

please help me, i have trouble in insert the key
smart-pls give info : the key wasn't accepted by server!

Hi Mustakin,
It's mean you used license key more than 3x for install SmartPLS => server wasn't except key.
