Dear all,

I have used PLS in order to analyse models with all LV as formative. Is there any project related to the development of a Jackknife procedure in order to evaluate the model (i.e. MVs and LVs), like in LVPLS?

Best regards,

Hi,

since we have the bootstrapping routine, we consider jackknifing as obsolete and do not plan to implement this kind of analysis.

Dear Christian,

I would be very grateful if you could explain why the jackknifing is obsolete in PLS or where I can read about this? Could jackknifing better help to deal with influential observations?

Regards,

Katja

Hi

Jacknifing is just a simplification of bootstrapping. Check on this topic in the book on PLS-SEM: http://www.sagepub.com/books/Book237345
