Moderation analysis in CB-SEM model

Dear all,

I am having trouble performing moderation analysis in the newly added feature of CB-SEM model. Unlike the PLS-SEM model version, there is no button for drawing moderating effects. Can someone please ecplain to me how to perform the moderation analsis in CB-SEM model and derive moderating slopes? Thank you very much.

We have not yet included a built-in feature for creating interaction effects. One way to do this in CB-SEM is create product-indicators for the new moderating construct. You can create these outside of the software and then import the dataset. But there are also other approaches and we are currently evaluating which one is the best to include in future versions of SmartPLS.

I am trying to perform moderation in latest version, its giving me parallel processing error. How to solve the parallel processing error?

First, try not to bootstrap but to run the basic CB-SEM analysis. Do you get results? Not all moderator models are empirically identified in CB-SEM and it is not unlikely that estimation errors can occur (e.g., non convergence).
