latent growth (curve) modeling by using SMART PLS

Questions about the implementation and application of the PLS-SEM method, that are not related to the usage of the SmartPLS software.

latent growth (curve) modeling by using SMART PLS

Post by jangsh96 »

Hi, all

I hope to perform latent growth modeling (or Latent curve modeling)
by using SMART PLS. This enables the longitudinal analysis based on structural equation modeling.

For this analysis, I should set two latent factors from the same indicators:
intercept & slope (time).

I should set 0,1,2,3,.. between
indicators(observed variables) and the slope (time effect) latent factor.
Unfortunately, I don't know how to do this process.

Are there anyone who know how to perform latent growth analysis or set different values to loadings?

Please refer to the figure 13 in the file below for your reference

Thanks,
Hoon

Hi,
PLS can't handle this, but used CB-SEM.

you should use HLM or Mplus software.
