How to interpret path coefficient?

Post by Teresa Chen »

I need to show path coefficient, t-value and p-value on the diagram. T-value I could have it from the path coefficient (Mean, STD DEV, T statistics) and calculate p-value in excel. How about path ocefficient? Where could I interpret it?

Hi,

One example:
LV1  path = 0,35 * LV2 + 0,27 * LV3

When LV2 increase 1 standard deviation, the LV1 will increase 0,35 standard deviation.

Think in terms of standardized variables.
Best regards,
Bido
