There are 3 independent and 2 dependent LVs in my PLS model. One of the dependent LVs has (three) metrically scaled indicators, the second has (three) dichotomous indicators (binary values: 0, -1).
I have read in the forum that dichotomous indicators are technically and conceptually okay for independent LVs.
1) Is the same true for dependent (endogenous) LVs?
2) Is the answer to the first question dependent on the scale type (metric vs. dichotomous) of the indicators of the independent (exogenous) LVs?
