Poor effect size, predictive relevance with good R square
My data have fulfilled all the standard cut off points for construct validity, discriminant validity, HTMT, R square values But it is having poor effect size & predictive relevance. Anyone can suggest me what can be reasons, how to solve these issues and any reference for these type of issues. It will be a great kind of you.

Maybe there is simply no relationship between your variables in your context? Or you have the wrong predictors?
