categorical variable effect on dependent variable

Post by ruchi »

Hi

I have started using samrtPLS and was able to run my model with 5 independent variables and 1 dependent variable all measured by 3-4 manifest variables(indicators) all measured on 1-5 likert scale.

Now I want to see the effect of one categorical variable C on my dependent variable D which is measured on 5 point likert scale (by 4 indicators)
My categorical variable is like
C = 0 for scheme 1
C=1 for scheme 2
C=3 for scheme 3

As I am new to smartPLS ,Please help me about how should i model this?

Thanks
Ruchi

Hi,
split the data set in three. Run a multigroup analysis
