PLS path modeling vs PLS regression

could any body answer me what is the difference between pls regression and pls path modeling?

Hi,

PLS-R = multiple regression (one dependent variable and many independent variables) that uses PLS algorithm (Svant Wold)

PLS-PM = structural equation modeling (net of relations between latent variables) that uses PLS algorithm (Herman Wold)
