Hello there!
I am currently writing my Bachelor's thesis and analyzing the data of my survey. I have never worked with SmartPLS before and I am really confused on what to do exactly in my case. I am reading A Primer on Partial Least Squares Equation Modeling while doing my analysis but I can't find an answer anywhere.
You can see my model in the attachment.
I know that the Integrated Value of Item Purchase is a 2nd order formative construct which means I have to first calculate the latent variable scores of the 1st order components (Enjoyment Value, Visual Authority Value and Monetary Value) and then "insert" the latent variable scores of the constructs as formative indicators of the 2nd order construct, am I right? I want to know if my measurement models are reliable, valid and so on.
The more I've read the less I understood. I hope somebody can help me with this, I assume, easy question.
Thanks!

Re: Hierarchical Component Model
I think you should read the following new paper that clarifies how to specify and validate second-order constructs:

Re: Hierarchical Component Model
Thanks Dr. Becker for answering me. I think this will be the answer to my questions.
