Path coefficient over 1 in standardized data

Questions about the implementation and application of the PLS-SEM method, that are not related to the usage of the SmartPLS software.

Path coefficient over 1 in standardized data

Post by delmongu »

I'm doing research with pls-sem now.

My model has 3 latent variable and each latent variable has manifest variable for 2, 6, 1.
Model well indicates latent variables but the problem exist between latent variables.

One of the latent variable has path coefficient over 1 (1.031) which cannot be happen in normal situation. I checked several topics related this problem
but I can't get an answer. I try to calculate with non-standardized data but still there is a path coefficient over 1.

I tried to add more manifest variables to each latent structure but still the result is same. I wonder why this kinds of problem happens
