Hello,
Is it possible to test a model only using single item constructs, like observed variables and indexes?

Sure. However, it is no PLS path model anymore, but only a path model (a system of simple regressions). But you can use SmartPLS to analyse such a model.

Thanks!
Re: single item constructs
Hello,
Just want to make sure that I can use the tools to analyze the unobserved heterogeneity, even though I'm doing only a path model (a system of simple regressions)?
Thank you.

Sure. They all build on latent variables scores and therefore also work with single item constructs.
