Singular matrix occured

Hey,

I am quite new regarding the use of the PLS statistical approach. I am just trying it a bit out for a later analysis. My problem is that I have a sample of just 10 respondents with 2 independent variables (each 4 variables) and one independent variable. I plugged it, but every time i just want to make a pls analysis, the following text appears:

A singular matrix occurred during the estimation of the outer weights of a block. Using more indicators could solve the problem.

Is it really the case, that I need more explaining items for my analysis? As is said, I am quite innocent in using this program, but if someone could help me out, I would highly appreciate it.
