Factor Analysis on 0, 1 Variables

I have got 13 items in my questionnaire asking whether companies have used particular strategies or not. I use dummy variables (0=no, 1=yes). I want to do factor analysis to see whether these strategies are used in combination with one another i.e. load onto several factors. Can I use CFA in PLS to do this? I read conflicting reports suggesting factor analysis can only be done on interval type variables. Do you have any advice for me? I want to do a multiple regression of indepedent variables against the strategy variables once factor analysis has been done.
Please help.
