problem opening SmartPLS after activated

I have installed SmartPLS on my laptop using the wireless network at my home. However, when I try to open it again, it asks for the activation key again. This happens when I try to open Smart PLS using the wireless internet at work and other locations. Of corse if I continue to re-enter activation key each time I try to open SmartPLS I will exceed the 3 use limit. Any idea what is happening?
