MICOM lacking values

Post by SjlThion »

Good afternoon,

I used to meet some problem running PLS procedure (with Smart PLS v3.2.3 on a Mac notebook)
When I run the permutation, in a model with 7 constructs, and a sample of 339 observations, the MICOM step 3 give me the permutation p-values for only 2 out of the 7 constructs (both dependents variables). In some other models I have the same problem with pValue lacking for step 3 (both mean and variance permutation p-values) and also for some of the constructs in step 2.

Can you help me ?

Best regards

First, you should use always the latest version, which is 3.2.7
However, that should not be the problem. You probably use "Hide zero values" and may have actually zero p-values so that they are not reportet. This may happen for example for single indicator constructs at step2.

Dear professor Becker,

Thank you for this quick reply !

PS: Unfortunately, I have a MacBookAir and the last time I updated my SmartPLS, I met some problem running it... So I will try an upgrade later, when I will be less busy with my current work...
