Fimix Variances

Hello Everybody,

Apart from the overall informationcriteria AIC/CAIC/BIC, SmartPLS is reporting "FIMIX Variances" for each segment defined by the FIMIX-PLS-application.

I'm afraid to say, that I'm not 100% how these figures can be interpreted.
Could anybody give me hints regarding the following questions:

How could the "Fimix Variances" be interpreted?
[2]
How are they related to "R Square" figures (of a normal, aggregated PLS analysis)?
[3]
How are they calculated?
