Linux version? Can't install/open..

I downloaded the Linux version of the software, but there's no setup file, nor does it open. I tried downloading the Windows version and installing it with Wine, but I get the JRE error, although I have JRE6 on my system.

Can someone tell me whether SmartPLS really works on Linux? If not, why is there a Linux version posted for download?

i have the same problem... cant get it run under arch linux - I would really appreciate a working version for linux.
