Calculation error

Post by elfenkind »

Hi,

I have got a problem with the PLS Algorithm. It doesn´t work and says " A singular matrix occured during the estimation of the outer weights of a block. Using more indicators could solve the problem." The strange thing is, that the whole process worked for my first survey and now for the second one with the same sample and indicators but for a different country the problem occure. I don´t have more indicators...

Can you help me?

Thanks,
Franziska

Hi,

probably,
you have two indicators with the same values or
one indicator with all the same values (variance = 0).

It is not a bug.

Best regards.

Thanks for your answer.

You were right. The problem was one indicator and now it´s solved.
