Hi every body
My question is:
What is the difference between the intercept and no intercept which means centering and scaling the data for PLS? Also when I don't center and scale the data I got better prediction. Why??
Thank you
I am happy to find this forum, because I am doing some research on the partial least square. I hope I will get some help.

Hi,
SmartPLS computes all coefficients from standardized MV, for this reason, there are no intercept.
