Checking significance

Post by kamal123 »

Hi,

I would like to ask about the significance of the relationship, in spss we did a regression to check this (i.e. sig. < 0.05).
My question, how to know whether the relationship between two of PLS model's factors (e.g. Independent variable and Mediator variable ) is significant or not? Please provide the details as much as possible, and thank you in advance.

Hi,
run the bootstrap procedure.

Use the search function to find details about it.

Thank you very much for your reply, would you explain how to access the search function (I mean the steps) because I actually run the bootstrap and I did not find any value indicates the significance.
Or may be we have to use SPSS for checking the significance of the relationships?

Your guidance is appreciated

Thanks in anticipation

Hi Kamal,
The "search" that I was talking about is in the upper right corner in this forum.

The results of bootstrap are t-values
If t > 1,96, the path or loading is significant at 5%.
