Factor Analysis

Dear,

I have used SPSS in the factor analysis, and accordingly, it is found that some factor lets say X should be divided into two factors X1 and X2. My question how can validate the factor structure using PLS to check whether there is a need for X1 and X2 or not ?

Hi,

Just remove item with outer loading < 0.7 for result one factor. In PLS and SEM used CFA, not EFA. EFA apropriate for construct and scale development.
