Hi everyone,
I am just compiling my first survey. I was wondering how I would ask best for things like “How many people are employed in your company”. Do I ask for an exact answer or do I give categorized answer options (“<100 employees; 100–500 employees; 500– 1,000 employees; 1,000–2,500 employees; 2,500–5,000 employees; 5,000–10,000 employees; 10,000–20,000 employees; 20,000–50,000, employees; 50,000–100,000 employees; >100,000 employees) like in Stock, R.M., 2010. How does product program innovativeness affect customer satisfaction? A comparison of goods and services. Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, 39(6), pp.813–827.
What is better when it comes to model testing?
Thanks
Richard
