Hi every one!

I would like to know if some one of you could help me to understand what exactly a indeterminacy problem is?

I've read this in one article:

"The use of PLS has certain advantages:
• It does not suffer from indeterminacy problems like other causal modelling
techniques using EQS or LISREL"

Hi,

as common factor analysis, there is no unique solution to generating the factor scores, a situation known as factor score indeterminacy.

in PLS (and principal components analysis) the LV is a exact linear combination of its indicators.
