How should negative HTMT coefficients be interpreted?
Thank you

Re: HTMT
Thank you for your reply.
My HTMT matrix is:
Compatibility Complexity Purchase Intentions
Compatibility
Complexity -0,641
Purchase Intentions 0,815 -0,582
Is it normal to get this result?
How should this be interpreted?

Re: HTMT
Hi,
Yes, it is normal, no problem. You only need to compare it with the standard value HTMT by placing it on a diagonal line as Fornell-Lacker criteria. See the video below for more details.

Re: HTMT
Hi
prinicpally HTMT is normed between -1 and +1 and it should be significantly different from -1 and +1. However, negative correlations cause trouble. For this reason, we will change the HTMT computation for the ease of use in the next SmartPLS 3 release.

Re: HTMT inference
Hi,
The following matrix is a part of the full matrix (of my research) for assening desciminant validity by HTMT, I utilized the same forme of Matrix that Henseler et al. (2015) have used in their articles.
How should I interprete it?
Is the value 0.00, that is included in the matrix, acceptable?
……………………………………………..………Trust………………..…………….…Loyalty
Consumer innovativeness…………...0.08
…………………………………………………..…CI.900[-0.02;0.17]
Variety-seeking……………………..…...0.13……………………………..……0.09
…………………………………………………..…CI.900[0.03;0.22]………….. CI.900[0.00;0.17]
Thank you SmartPLS team

Re: HTMT
The goal of the HTMT criterion is that your results are significantly different from 1. Thus, you results are fine.
