model validation

Hi,
in this post (viewtopic.php?t=185) I have read which only theory is important for model validation when we have formative constructs. So, the use of some quality indicators isn't relevant.
Is this correct?

It is.

Multicolinearity between indicators also is a important thing to take care.
Some indicators could show a insignificant weight because this problem.
