I run the model on two subsamples. I get different results of path coefficients' significance in the subsamples. Yet, if I calculate t-test of path differences using Chin formula, I often get t-test insignificant. Hence, in one subsample the path is significant, in the other it is not, but overall the difference between them is not significant (being affected by SE of both subsamples). How do I intepret such results?

I will appreciate any clues. Best. Sergeja
