Please what is the difference between molecular second-order factor and molar second-order factor (also with both with reflective and formative dimensions), Regards.

Hi,

Molar = Type II and IV 2nd
Molecular = Type I and III 2nd OK.

Hi,

Type I = reflective-reflective
Type II = reflective-formative
Type II = formative-reflective
Type IV = formative-formative

Really thank you, you really solved my big problem.
Please let me confirm again.
It means
Molar = First order construct Type II and second-order construct with Type IV
Molecular = First order construct Type IV and second-order construct with Type III.

It also means that we must have other types molar and molecular?

Could you give me few references with more practical examples?

Type I = reflective-reflective
Type II = reflective-formative
Type II = formative-reflective

Check Chin and Gopal paper (1995) in The DATABASE Information System and some paper in journal chemometric but I forget the title.
