How to practically deal with reflective-formative HCM - Best Practice?

Hey everyone,
in my Masters Thesis I am confronted with a reflective-formatice HCM. Means my second order construct (psychological empowerment) is a formative construct and my first order constructs (meaning, self-determination, Competence, Impact) are reflective. I feel insecure in how to practically deal with the evaulation of reflective and formative measurement models in one structural model and I am looking for a best practice paper that also included a reflective-formative HCM. Anybody knows a good paper that gives orientation?
Another concern: When I use the repeated indicator approach, I have the problem that the weights from LOC to HOC are not significant anymore (only 2 of those 4). What does it tell me and how can I deal with that problem?
Thanks for your help,
Dennis :)
