CFI, TLI, RMSEA, SRMR

Questions about the implementation and application of the PLS-SEM method, that are not related to the usage of the SmartPLS software.

Hi,

I am new to smartPLS.

I am sorry for my question, but I am struggeling getting the result of the following by using smartPLS:

Comparative-Fit-Index (CFI)
Tucker-Lewis-Index (TLI)
Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA)
Standardized Root Mean Square Residual (SRMR)

is it possible to calculate them by using smartPLS?

Hi Bastian,

In PLS-SEM not available overall fit indices (distribution-free), contrary with CB-SEM. For know GoF model in PLS see:
- R-Squares
- Q predictive relevance
- Compute GoF (SQRT average AVE*R-squares)
- Compute GoF relative

Hi,
I noticed that SmartPLS 3.0 calculates SRMR. Can this be used as a GoF measure for multigroup comparison? Or should I use the GoF index suggested by Tennenhaus?
Does anybody have some documentation on SRMR in SnmartPLS 3.0?
Thanks,
Torsten

Against its naming, the GoF (Tenenhaus et al.) is not a goodness of fit measure. See
Henseler, J., and Sarstedt, M. 2013. "Goodness-of-Fit Indices for Partial Least Squares Path Modeling." Computational Statistics 28: 565-580.
