Inter-Item correlations and cross-item correlations

Hello everybody
I read an article about Inter-Item correlations and cross-item correlations which the writers used these two criterion for providing a guideline for choosing between multiple item and single item measures.
but i don't know how to calculate Inter-Item correlations and cross-item correlations with smart pls 2.
I appreciate anyone who can help
