Modeling higher order constructs in SmartPLS!

Questions about the implementation and application of the PLS-SEM method, that are not related to the usage of the SmartPLS software.

Modeling higher order constructs in SmartPLS!

Post by AKaltenberg »

Hi,

I have to model two higher order constructs in SmartPLS, which are both defined by three lower order constructs. Easily spoken, the measurement items I have measure the lower order constructs which then explain the higher order construct.
I saw that it is possible to model this in PLS Graph because there different symbols exist for lower- and higher order constructs, but I did not find something like that in SmartPLS.
How do I have to measure this in SmartPLS?

A fast answer would be nice, this is pretty urgent.

Thanks a lot,
Andrea

Hi,
This topic has been discussed before. You can do it by repeated measure method. Please see previous discussion on this forum
