In my model, D, E,F (independent), mediating (B, C) and A (dependent). Total indirect effect from D to A is significant (p-0.018), but individual indirect effect from D>B>A is insignificant(p-0.069), and D>C>A is insignificant (p-0.154). How can I explain it?
For E,F both total and individual indirect effects are significant

It is certainly possible, but unusual.
How do you assess significance? Based on t and p-value? For the indirect effects it is usually better to look at the confidence intervals as the bootstrap distribution might be non-normal and therefore using the t-statistic might not be appropriate. You can also investigate the distribution in the histograms and look for outliers.

thank you. I was looking at the p value for significance.
