the hierarchical model and sub-factors relationships

I have question , in case we have hierarchical model, for example likability and compliance are sub-factors of second-order factor of customer satisfaction that supposed to effect the customer loyalty (dependent factor). My question is it allowed to build relationships among the sub-factors of first-order like in the mentioned example between likability and compliance
