Moderated Mediation

Dear all,

I have a moderated mediation model (see attached).
IV: conflict
Mediator: work embeddedness
Moderator:cooperation
DV: turnover intention

I am a little confused about how to assess a moderated model like this with Smart PLS, especially for its structural model assessment. I have gone through the existing literature and found inconsistent/conflicting suggestions on how to test the indirect conditional effect using Smart PLS.

Can anyone please give me a step-by-step instruction on how to test a model like this with Smart PLS? Do I need to break down into an assessment of the simple mediation model (conflict->work embeddedness->turnover intention) AND an assessment of the moderation model (the conditional indirect model examining the impact of conflict on turnover intention with the moderation of cooperation)?

To test if there is a moderated mediation you want to test the index of moderated mediation, which in your example is quite easy to assess as it is the specific indirect effect of the moderating effect on turnover intention. If that is significant your specific indirect effect of conflict on turnover is moderated.
Assume the effect of conflict on work emb. is p1; the effect of work emb. on turnover is p2. Then the specific indirect effect is p1*p2.
Assume the effect of the moderating effect on work emb. is p3.
Your conditional indirect effect is then p1*p2 + p3*p2*Moderator

Can you please elaborate on how to get the value and statistical significance of the indirect conditional effect with Smart-PLS? Hayes (2015) shows how to do this with PROCESS (which reports OLS regression coefficients). But I am not sure how to use Smart-PLS to do this.

Just the way I explained it: To test the index of moderated mediation you look at the specific indirect effect of the moderating effect on turnover intention. That is the index of moderated mediation.
