I have a question about how to put factorial design into PLS. Refer to the article writen by Sandra streukens, Martin Wetzels, Ahmad Daryanto and Ko de Ruyter (Analyzing Factorial Data Using PLS: Application in an Online Complaining Context) experimental design treatment was put as a formative indicator. However, there is no explanation why did the experimental . COuld some of you give the reasoning for this?
