HTMT Strange Value

HTMT Strange Value

Dear all,

I run my model in SmartPLS (latest Version) which is fine for the overall sample.
But when I run the Algorithm for a Multigroup Analysis I get an HTMT Value larger than 1 for one Construct.

Could someone please explain to me, how it is possible, since HTMT in SmartPLS 3 is normed between 0 and 1.

The HTMT value is not bound between 0 and 1. It can actually get larger than 1 if the between construct correlations are larger than the within construct correlations. It indicates a serious threat to discriminant validity.
