R2

Post by Choukri »

Hi everyone,

I found that two of the dependents variables ATT and INT have R2 = 0.056 and R2 = 0.109, respectevily.

Is this result acceptebale?

That depends on your field of research, your context, dependent variable and whether you have a very nascent, early stage research model or an established model.

Generally, I would consider those R² values as too low, because they can easily be due to chance correlations, but that also depends on your sample size.

Hence, it is impossible to answer that questions.

R ^ 2 = weak could occur because of misspecification models.
